The Apexians Make Their Mark at the Code Expert Challenge 2024

Code Expert Challenge or the Arab Programming Championship is a competition that began in June 2023 in its first edition at South Valley University, under the sponsorship of ICI Kuwait and the Faculty of Computers and Information at South Valley University.

Under the title Smart City and How Artificial Intelligence and Technology Will Play a Role in Building the City of the Future, the second edition of the Code Expert competition was held this year at the Digital Innovation Center in Qena under the sponsorship of ICI Kuwait and the Faculty of Computers and Information at South Valley University. The competition included both offline and online students of age group 7 to 14 years, where they can design Mobile applications, Websites, Games, and Projects to contribute to development and create a vision for the city of the future, where technology and artificial intelligence are present.

Our Academy had the pleasure of participating in the Code Expert Challenge this year, and we are proud to win 12 prizes in the competition.

And here are our awesome winners of the offline competition:

1. Mohamed Majed Abdelaziz won the First place in the Code Game Competition.
2. Badr Mohamed Galal and Mohab Hasan Hagag won the Best presentation prize in the Code Game Competition.
3. Waleed Mohamed Radwan, Moustafa Ashraf Abdo, and Mohamed Wael Salah Eldeen won Second place in the Open Project Competition.
4. Farha Ahmed Abdelnaby, Nour Ahmed Mousa, and Lavinia Michael Hanser won the Best Idea prize in the Open Project Competition.
5. Malek Moustafa Yahia and Mohamed Moustafa Yahia won the Best Code prize in the Open Project Competition.

The winners of the online competition:

1. Kinda Hamdy Abd Elazeem won First place in the Code Game Competition.
2. Lina Mahmoud Samy won Second place in the Code Game Competition.
3. Hamza Mohamed Ahmed won the Third place in the Code Game Competition.
4. Mariam Mohamed Abdelwahed and Veronia Michael Refaat won Second place in the Mobile Application Hackathon.
5. Haitham Moustafa Hussein and Kareem Khaled Mohamed won the Best Code prize in the Mobile Application Hackathon.
6. Malak Tarek Abotaleb, Salma Moustafa Sayed and Ibrahim Ahmed Sayed won the Best presentation prize in the Mobile Application Hackathon.
7. Youssef Mahmoud Samy and Yasmin Mahmoud Samy won the Best Design prize in the Mobile Application Hackathon.
