zCodeavour is the biggest Global AI & Coding Competition hosted annually by STEMpedia at an International Level for students of Age Group 7-18 years, where they make innovative projects in PictoBlox with the destined purpose of making the world a better place. They get an opportunity to explore the world of AI, Coding, as well as Robotics with interactive activities and projects. They have also the opportunity to develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication the four C’s of 21st-century Skills.
In this competition, students unleashed their potential to create awareness stories, animations, games, and innovative projects using PictoBlox and AI and robotics Kits. They can select among six inspiring themes and brainstorm over emerging global issues and build solution-oriented projects to solve real-world problems such as saving the Environment, strengthening the Health Infrastructure, exploring the outer world, automating the Surroundings, entertaining the World, and making smart Transportation Systems.
With more than 80 Prizes worth $15,000, the Codeavour 2021 International AI & Coding Competition has ended successfully. During this edition, there were 500+ School Partners, 60+ Training Partners, and 15+ Community partners. With the collective efforts of all collaborators, 68000+ Teams from 65+ Countries registered for the competition learned AI and coding concepts via free boot camps, and thousands of unique AI and coding projects were submitted by young students to make the world a better place with their awesome AI and coding skills.
Apex Coding Academy winners in Codeavour:
Apex Coding Academy was pleased to participate in the Codeavour competition as a local partner. And we are proud to win three prizes in the competition, out of the five prizes won by Egypt at the international level. Here are the awesome winners of the competition:
Yassin Mohamed Jamal
Yassin is a student at Apex Coding Academy from Sohag, 9 years old. He was among the participating students from Atfal Masr Foundation, the “community partner of the Apex Coding Academy in the competition”. He won third place worldwide and a bronze medal for his coronavirus war game project in the Codeavour International Competition.
Maryam Mohamed Abdel Wahed
Mariam is a 7-year-old student at Apex Academy from Cairo. She won the Consolation Prize for her “Planting App” project in the Codeavour International Competition.
Faris Muhammad Abul-Majd
Faris is a 14-year-old student at Apex Academy from Luxor. He won Consolation Prizes for his project The Cleaner in the Codeavour International Competition.
