In 2021, our journey began in the Codeavour International Competition, the biggest Global AI & Coding Competition hosted annually by STEMpedia for students of Age Group 7-18 years, where they make innovative projects in PictoBlox with the destined purpose of making the world a better place. We were proud that Apex students won three prizes in the competition, out of the five prizes won by Egypt at the international level, and since then we decided to leave a clear mark on the whole world with our children in the field of programming and artificial intelligence.
In Codeavour 2022, we were proud to be an exclusive global partner and host the national event for the competition in Egypt which was held on February 23 in cooperation with the Atfal Misr Foundation under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, Ministry of Culture and Luxor Governorate at the International Conference Center in Luxor with more than 25 local prizes worth up to 150,000 EGP in total.
During the event, students presented their projects and shared their experiences with event guests. And we were happy to have Eng. Ahmed Tartour, Director of the Application Development Team at the Export Development Bank of Egypt talked about the importance of programming and children’s education in Egypt, and Eng. Ahmed Zalat, founder & CEO of UVAII decided to surprise two of the participating projects that his company will adopt their ideas and transform into existing and successful companies in the future. We were also happy to have Salma Sabahi, presenter of the Atfal Al-Hayah program, as an honorary guest at the event.
