Apex Coding Academy in the African Forum for Innovation and Technology competition

Apex was pleased to participate in the African Forum for Innovation and Technology “Trak Mobile Application Programming” at the local and African levels. The Forum is held within the framework of partnership and exchange of experiences between STEM schools and TechnoSpace Academy. This competition is for students of the Age Group 11-25 years, where they make innovative projects to use Mobile Applications in Sustainable Development to achieve the vision of Africa 2030.
And here are the awesome winners of the African Forum for Innovation and Technology competition:
1. Geniuses Team (Students Faris Muhammad and Abdulrahman Muhammad)
Faris and Abdulrahman obtained a scholarship at a foreign university as they won first place at the local level and second place at the level of the African continent for their project ” Smart Vaccination App”. They have achieved the third goal of sustainable development goals, good health, and well-being, which wants to ensure that everyone enjoys a healthy life for all ages and provides services of safety and high quality. Still, at the same time, it faces a great challenge. Their application provides information about mothers’ vaccinations during pregnancy. It also provides vaccinations and their schedules for children from the age of one day to 18 months to ensure that children receive the vaccinations on time.
2. Power Team (Students Safa Muhammad and Roaa Mustafa)
Safa and Roaa obtained a scholarship at a foreign university as they won third place at the local level. They won also second place at the level of the African continent for their project ” Your Doctor App”. They have achieved the third goal of sustainable development goals, good health, and well-being. This goal is to ensure that everyone enjoys a healthy life and provides services of safety and high quality. Still, at the same time, it faces a great challenge. Their application contributes to the availability of a doctor whom the patient can communicate with and answer his inquiries or obtain quick medical consultations. Your Doctor has helped increase the chance of finding a doctor, to save time and effort in remote places.
3. Best of the best Team (Students Ganna Mustafa and Khadija Diaa)
Ganna and Khadija won the best “Problem Solution” prize at the local level for their project ” I plant App”. They have achieved the second goal of sustainable development goals, eradicating hunger, providing food security, promoting sustainable agriculture, and finding new ways of nutrition, agriculture, and food systems. Their application helps you know the best suitable crops and the planting season. It helps also with planting and harvest times, and the best irrigation methods. It has also contributed to helping achieve food security by providing agricultural information to farmers and gardeners based on location.
