Seven Victories for Apex at the Afro-Asian Forum for Innovation and Technology

The Afro-Asian Forum is the 1st African Event in innovation and technology gathering children and youth aged 6 to 25 years. The Afro-Asian Competition began in 2019 in Egypt. It was affiliated with the African Confederation for Innovation and Technology, and its first activities took place in Upper Egypt, specifically in Luxor Governorate, at the end of 2020. This forum deals with technology competitions that gather youths and students annually to develop problem-solving skills and creativity in a fast-paced environment. It promotes the learning of STEAM and digital skills, and fosters multicultural friendships and life skills for an unparalleled learning experience. And also, prepare our youth to build a new Africa with technology, industrial automation, and smart cities. This forum also aims to contribute to achieving Africa’s Vision 2030 in sustainability.
This year, Apex Academy had a distinguished participation in the Afro-Asian Forum Competition held at Badr University – Assiut. The event covered four key categories: Educational Game Design (Game to Gain), Software and Website Innovation for vital causes like Health and Food Security (Software Leader), Mobile Application Development for smart solutions in areas such as Energy, Environment, and Security (Mobile Application), and Open Innovation Projects (Open Project).
Apex students managed to achieve great accomplishments in the competition. Here are the awesome winners:
1- Mohamed Ashraf, Al Baraa Mohamed, Al Shimaa Mohamed, and Amr Mostafa: Won the 1st place in the Game to Gain Competition
2- Mariam Hatem: Won 2nd place in the Game to Gain Competition
3- Yasmin Waleed, Nadeen Waleed, Yahia Al Hassan, and Malek Mohamed: Won 3rd place in the Game to Gain Competition
4- Daniel Ebrahim: Won the Best Design Prize in the Game to Gain Competition
5- Mohamed Hany: Won the Judging Award in the Game to Gain Competition
6- Abdullah Tarek, Mohamed Al Hassan, and Mohamed Medhat: Won the 1st place in the Software Leader Competition
7- Eyad Ahmed, Mohamed Ahmed, Waleed Mohamed, and Mostafa Ahmed: Won the 1st place in the Open Project Competition
