Apex Students Excel in the Arab Artificial Intelligence Olympiad

The Arab Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (AIO) is a group of competitions in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, representing a platform for Arab youth of all age groups to apply 21st-century sciences and skills. It aims to create a generation of creative and inspiring Arab youth to keep pace with technological leaps in various fields of modern sciences. It also aims to create a competitive environment among different youth groups at the school and university levels to help them innovate and excel through sharing creative ideas and diverse experiences among participants and applying them in a practical, competitive manner.

This year, we were pleased to participate in the 2nd edition of the Olympiad in Egypt and the 4th in the Arab world. It was held on the 5th of February at the Alamein International University in the tracks of Machine Learning, Coding, Computer Vision, Embedded Systems, as well as Cyber ​​Security.

The competition included academies and schools from all over Egypt. It was organized by the STEAM Center, a training and consulting center specializing in robotics, artificial intelligence, and STEAM educational curricula. The STEAM Center is accredited by the international organization STEM.org. It has many partnerships with ministries, community institutions, universities, international educational centers, and institutes specialized in creativity, student projects, and the management and organization of competitions related to robotics and artificial intelligence.
