Apex Academy Celebrates the Success of Atfal Masr Digital Initiative

Atfal Masr Digital Initiative, which aimed at teaching programming and artificial intelligence to children in Egypt, concluded its first phase with grand ceremonies in ten different governorates across Egypt. Under the sponsorship of “EGBank”, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education and organized by Atfal Masr Foundation, the founder of the initiative, Apex Coding Academy as an educational partner and YDI Foundation as a strategic partner, the initiative has successfully equipped hundreds of students across the governorates with theoretical and practical content on digital technology and programming. It was for students aged 8 to 18, over three consecutive months, and divided into three different programs according to the age group for each stage. The initiative included children from the governorates of Giza, Alexandria, Port Said, Damietta, Beni Suef, Assiut, Sohag, Red Sea, Luxor, and Aswan, in addition to equipping a laboratory in Assiut Governorate with environmentally friendly materials and several computers for use during the educational program.

We were proud to be a key partner in the first phase of the Atfal Masr Digital Initiative. This groundbreaking program, which aimed to introduce children to the exciting world of programming and artificial intelligence, witnessed remarkable achievements and showcased the immense potential of Egypt’s young talent.

The closing ceremonies brought together students, parents, educators, and industry leaders to celebrate the accomplishments of the young participants. Throughout the ceremony, the young programmers spoke about their experience, demonstrating the skills they had acquired during the training program.

The ceremony, which was hosted by the organizing institutions in each governorate, in the presence of the Atfal Masr Foundation presenters, and Apex Coding Academy, the educational partner of the initiative, featured a variety of activities, including a speech of Institution officials, who thanked the initiative’s officials and spoke about the foundation’s experience and its role in the initiative during the last three months.

Eng. Nihad Al-Adly, Executive Director of Apex Coding Academy, gave a speech in which she talked about the academy’s role in the initiative through the preparation of educational curricula and the process of the initiative’s progress during its first phase. And Mr. Abdel Rahim Farhat, Executive Director of Atfal Masr Foundation, also gave a speech in which he talked about the long-term objectives of the initiative and its role in empowering children and providing them with the necessary skills to keep pace with technological developments. After that, all students were recognized for their exceptional achievements and contributions during the initiative.

The success of the Atfal Masr Digital Initiative is a testament to the growing interest in technology and innovation among Egypt’s youth. By equipping young minds with essential digital skills, we are empowering them to become the future leaders of the tech industry.
